A sales platform that follows an order from annual plan to doorstep
Channel sales for seed distribution across five states, covering annual target setting, distributor onboarding and KYC, bookings, indents, payments, wallets and last-mile dispatch, with reporting that rolls up cleanly along the sales hierarchy.
The challenge
A distribution business is a hierarchy pretending to be a spreadsheet. Targets are set at the top, split across regions and officers, and met by distributors at the bottom, and every level needs to see its own slice of the truth and nobody else's. Reconciling plan against booking against payment against what actually shipped was manual work that ran perpetually behind reality.
Our approach

Made the sales hierarchy an explicit part of the data model, then scoped every report by the viewer's position in it, so a field officer and a national head open the same screen and each sees a correct number.

Digitised distributor onboarding end to end, including document capture with OCR extraction, so KYC stopped being a courier-and-scan exercise.

Separated bookings from indents from dispatch, which is how the business actually works, rather than collapsing them into a single 'order' that could never represent a partial shipment.

Integrated with the group's separate logistics platform over a deliberately narrow, pull-only contract, so neither system could take the other down.

Shipped one progressive web app and wrapped it for the app stores, adding native push and camera-based document capture rather than maintaining a second codebase.
